jack morgan scores Beestons winner with a stunning bicycle

Beeston travlled the short distanced to Attenborough this mornin with both teams unbeaten in the league before kick off.

Attenborough started out the stronger team but still was lots of battleing in midfield which resulted in either lose passes or long balls that was picked up from the keepers. The first goal came from Luke Daminabo when he recieved the ball on the right wing he cut inside paassing two defenders before hitting it passed the keeper.

After taking Harvey Kirk out of goal for Dylan Mitchell, Harv ran onto a long ball from Zac Ross and after a defensive error by Attenborough Harv looked up to see where the keeper was positioned and diped the ball over the keepers left side on the half volly, very good touch!!

Luke got his brace after almost scoring a carbon copy of his first goal but he made a run from centre midfield and slotted it into the corner of the goal. Attenborough then scored a goal with the striker half vollying it passed Dylan into the left corner.

A quick team talk of just working more when tracking players Beeston started the much stronger team and dominated possesion in the second half. Riccardo Kolesov ran though midfield and the defense with ease to the pass the ball into the bottom corner of the net.

Beeston was now on cruse control, Ellis Ross won a corner after working hard using his strength to fight off his defender had to come off with a dead leg but that didn't stop Jack Morgan as Ricky delivered in his corner jack was infront of the keeper and attempted the bicycle and it payed off as it hit the back off the net, WHAT A GOALLLLLL!!!!

Then attenborough came on the attck after wining the ball the striker hit the ball and ws looking like a goal before Dylan Mitchelle made a diving save witha strong hand to turn the ball out for a corner. Attenborough then dug deep and scored three goals in quick succession but Beeston managed to hold on for the win as Luke and Joseph Allan both had missed chances right at the end to cement Beestons lead.

Well played today from the Lads in orange, yet again showed team work which is what we aim for every week and man of the match goes to Ricky Kolesvo for his work rate in midfield and his passing ability.
