Beeston U9s Stay Top

What a brilliant physical battle of a game we witnessed this morning.

Every player gave it their all in a thrilling match in what was potentially our last ever game on the hallowed Cauldron turf.

First half saw us go behind twice, but the boys weren’t rattled and came on strong either side of the half time break.

Energy was really sapping towards the end and even with the three goal cushion, Arnold’s final goal and urgency made us work tremendously hard right up to the final whistle.

Beeston showed that they can ‘mix it’ with the best of them and their passion and commitment was a sight to behold.
