Beeston U10 - Bounce Back after Midweek Misery

Great to bounce back after our midweeks brilliant yet ultimately disappointing match.

We were always on the front foot in this encounter with our midfield really dominating. Some beautiful individual skills, set piece delivery and team goals. If we had been a bit more composed in front of the target, things may have been a touch more relaxed - something to work on.

Keyworth battled well though and their boy mountain keeper (straight out of Rocky IV) was not only talented but had a kick that was always going to be a threat. They threw everything at us towards the end and kept us working. Fearful of a repeat performance of Thursday we bolstered the already defiant back line in the last 10 and soaked up this pressure and confidently rolled over the finishing line.

This is the sort of performance that we are coming to expect from this great bunch of players.

We await other results to see if we have a chance to play for league runners up, but we can relax until then, knowing we can do no more.
