New kit, new players, new end result!

Today saw Beeston welcome Stapleford Town FC to Trent vale as both look to be in a similar division after Christmas.

Beeston started off the better team with new signing Adam nutmeging the keeper and passing the ball into an empty net. 1-0.

Beeston suddenly fount themselves 2-0 up when Joe’s long rang effort from the right wing chipped the keeper and landed into the bottom right corner.

Beeston playing some stylish football which must have been inspired by their stylish new kit!

Beeston dominated the match but suddenly fount themselves level as stapleford scored two goals with 10 minutes to go.

Beeston was throwing everything at Stapleford to win the match but just couldn’t seem to find the finishing touch needed. Then stepped up Dylan to take a short corner to Jamie with a very clever turn took his shot through a crowd of bodies and into the left side netting with only 2 minutes remaining!!!!

Man of the match today went to George for his excellent display in defence using his strength to win the ball, brilliant first touch and vision to play the ball to an open player. Well done Beeston!!!!
