Beeston U11s - Return of old Rivals

Fine performance today from the U11 boys.

We certainly appear to be adapting well to the new format and bigger pitch.

Some great communication out there and feel the players are working well together - which amazes me after a rather fractious training session on Wednesday.

Although we got off to the best possible start, Cotgrave’s two speedy front men were causing us problems and we soon found ourselves behind.

We rallied though and dominated just before the break pulling away again with a couple of well worked goals.

We flew out of the blocks in the second half, making the most of Cotgrave’s frustration and adding to the tally.

A bit of complacency then crept in and we let Cotgrave back into it for spell. But it was too little too late for them and we cruised over the finishing line comfortably.

I honestly think that we are still not at our best yet and think that when we are firing on all cylinders and getting that decision making sharpened we will compete with the best.
